Real Housewives of New Jersey Star Melissa Gorga Promises The Rest Of The Season Is Explosive

Melissa returns to the kitchen where she belongs

Melissa returns to the kitchen where she belongs

Melissa Gorga has been struggling all season to find a way to keep her family and her business endeavors in balance. She shares in her latest blog that they’re still in a work in progress.

She starts off, “Watching these last two episodes you really get to see the struggle Joe and I have been going through balancing both work and family life. Our babies are now all in school and are growing up so fast.”

On the father/daughter dance, Melissa says it was one of her favorite moments of the season and added, “It is really important for Joe and I to be there for special moments like these and to raise well-rounded, thoughtful and caring children. We are so proud of Antonia and the young woman she is becoming. I live for these moments.”

RELATED: MELISSA CELEBRATES THE OPENING OF ENVY

On Joe’s back and forth between being a supportive hubby and a grumbling Neanderthal, “On top of school starting, I am also navigating running my own business and working with a partner while managing our home, and as you can see Joe has been very vocal about his feelings. It truly is a double-edged sword. Joe is so supportive (he built Envy!), but he is also very traditional and set in his ways. He wants me to be successful and follow my passion for wanting to own my business yet gets frustrated when I am at the store instead of home cooking dinner, and honestly it has just been a HUGE change for all of us.  The first year of getting a business off the ground requires A LOT of time and that’s what was causing friction between Joe and I, because I couldn’t get everything done while the kids were in school and needed his help.”

She adds, “To Joe, family is everything and I absolutely love that about him. It is the core piece to leading a fulfilling and happy life, and I really have been feeling the pressure to do my best at both jobs. I have been a full-time mom and now with the kids away most of the day at school, I need to do something for myself that I can own and be proud of.”

Melissa and Joe are still trying to find a happy medium in the work/home balance, but she says their strong marriage will see them through. “Joe and I are still figuring out this new daily routine. At the end of the day, I just to want to feel the same sense of achievement he does. His resistance in accepting this new normal had just added to the confusion I had been feeling, which is what you saw on the last episode. I think what makes our marriage so strong is that we are able to communicate and listen to each other. I really heard him when he said he needed that family time again, which is why I think the dinner we had was such a healing moment in this episode.”

And if you’ve been thinking that so far things have been pretty boring on RHONJ, Melissa promises that is coming to an end. She concluded her blog with: “The rest of the season is going to be explosive.”

Big Brother 18 Spoilers: Dr. Will Kirby Says ‘Most Entertaining’ Jury Ever!

Every year, the Big Brother Jury members sit down for a roundtable discussion over the merits of the houseguests who may end up competing for their votes in the Final Two. Things sometimes get quited heated, and after what we recently saw happen in the Jury house between Paulie Calafiore, Da’Vonne Rogers, and Zakiyah Everette, we can’t wait to see how this year’s debate goes.

Dr. Will Kirby

Former Big Brother winner Dr. Will Kirby will be hosting this year’s Jury discussion, as he has done for the previous three years. According to Dr. Will, this season’s Jury is the “best, most opinionated, most entertaining” jury that he’s sat down with so far.

Well, after that whole throwdown in the Jury house with Paulie and Da’Vonne, it’s easy to see that tensions and emotions are running very high with the Jury members. However, the most “bitter” Jury members might not be who we think, according to Dr. Will.

“I will state that some that I expected to be bitter aren’t and others that I anticipated would be totally objective are very emotionally volatile,” Kirby said in an interview with Zap2It. “Unstable, you could argue.”

As for the whole Paulie, Zakiyah, Da’Vonne emotional drama, Dr. Will said he was not legally allowed to comment about that whole confrontation. However, he said he was “allowed to state that all precautions were made to ensure the safety of all jury members and everyone was allowed and encouraged to air their grievances.”

Dr. Will said the Jury is “confused, conflicted and tormented,” which, to him, is a great thing. “When a juror comes into this segment with a set opinion it shows lack of intelligence.” Instead, Kirby said, a really great juror is someone who has an open mind right up until the end.

Unfortunately, Dr. Will refused to predict a winner in his interview with Zap2It.com, saying that the “conspiracy theorists go bananas” whenever he did that, especially after he predicted Ian would win season 14 fairly early on. So now he just doesn’t feel like being swamped by “nerds” complaining to his Twitter account over him making any kind of prediction.

Big Brother 18: Who Has Best Odds to Win America’s Favorite Player?

Every year, the America’s Favorite Player competition brings out the competitive side of Big Brother fans. Fandoms vote to the very last moment to ensure that their favorite wins the AFP crown.

11

This year is no different. Big Brother 18 fans have already started arguing why their favorite deserves the $25,000. Based on Big Brother 2016 Twitter hashtags and polls, it seems like Nicole Franzel, Natalie Negrotti, James Huling, Paul Abrahamian, and Victor Arroyo are the players most likely to win the America’s Favorite Player prize.

bb5

Nicole Franzel

In Big Brother 16 , Nicole placed in the top three finalist for America’s Favorite Player. People adored her quirky, good girl, Midwestern charm. They admired her innocence and honesty, even if it cost her the game.

Big Brother 18 has shown fans a different side to Nicole, and many do not like it. Nicole’s most loyal fans remain loyal but she’s nowhere near as popular as she was on Big Brother 16.  The lack of massive support  lessens her odds of winning it this year. However, she still has enough support that she could still slither her way to the America’s Favorite Player prize.

8

Paul Abrahamian

Production clearly loves Paul, because he adds a light entertainment that this season lacks. Production will have Paul back for a return run on Big Brother. However, it took awhile for viewers to completely embrace Paul.

Early on, casual and feed watchers labeled Paul a loud mouth, who spewed nonsensical sayings far too often. However, when he broke ties with Paulie Calafiore, and fully committed to his bromance with Victor, his stock rose.

Despite the new warm feelings for Paul, we still don’t know if he has enough love from the casual viewers to make a dent in the America’s Favorite Player voting. He didn’t win any of America’s Care Packages, which might be an indication that he’s popular with feed watchers, but not casual fans.

image

Natalie Negrotti

Prior to two weeks ago, Natalie seemed like she would win America’s Favorite Player, even more so than James. She seemed like a sweetheart, had a likable showmance, and showed more game prowess many than other Big Brother 18 players.

Then CBS murdered her with the edit of her last week in the house. To some, she came off as a manipulative girl who used James in the game. America’s final image of Natalie (minus juror footage and eviction) might make her lose many of the casual viewers who once supported her.

2016-09-07_14-03-32

Victor Arroyo

Victor wasn’t very popular at the start of Big Brother 18. He remained unpopular even after he returned during the Battle Back competition. It wasn’t until he nominated Paulie that fans started to see a different side to Victor.

He won more viewers admiration and respect when he won his way back into the house a second time, and when CBS did a segment with his family.

It showed his humble beginnings. However, like Paul, we still don’t have a  very clear picture of casual viewer’s opinion on Victor. He has definitely won a lot more people over, but maybe not enough to beat some of the other players for the AFP prize.

2016-09-07_14-01-16

James Huling

It’s hard to see a scenario where James doesn’t win America’s Favorite Player (except if he makes it to the final 2 and therefore ineligible). He has the casual viewers completely on his side.

The only thing that could hurt James’ chance of winning AFP is if enough feed watchers endorse a certain player plus enough casual ones favor other people. But right now, America’s Favorite Player prize seems like James’s to lose.

Who do you think should win AFP? Cast your vote in our poll below and tell us what you think!

Heather Dubrow Wonders Why Meghan Edmonds Took So Long To Tell Shannon Beador About The Dune Buggy Accident

Heather Dubrow blog

Heather Dubrow blog

The last episode of Real Housewives of Orange County was more dramatic than I could ever imagine and it surprisingly didn’t involve anyone screaming at each other. It was more of a subtle drama that made the cast members and the viewers question Meghan Edmonds and Shannon Beador after they had virtually NO reaction to Heather Dubrow telling them about Vicki Gunvalson getting in a serious accident.

I feel like a lot of people understand why Meghan and Shannon don’t want to be friends with Vicki after her antics last year and her lack of actual apologies, but not going to see someone in the hospital who had no one there to help her was really harsh.

CLICK “CONTINUE READING” FOR MORE!

I’m sure that Meghan and Shannon’s Twitter mentions are blowing up after that last episode aired. Not only that, but Heather called them both out in her Bravo blog.

Heather wrote, “I can’t believe how long it took Meghan to tell Shannon about the accident, Meghan was very clear from our call and subsequent texts on the severity of the accident.”

Yeah, I’m very curious about that as well – what was so urgent about hanging out at Meghan‘s spare house that took precedence over their friends – or at the very least, cast members – almost dying?

RELATED: Meghan Explains Her Reasons For Not Going To Be With Vicki

Heather explained, “I assumed that when Shannon arrived Meghan would tell her and then call me. That’s why I got so fired up. Meghan knows me, she knows I’m not a histrionic person and I would expect her to take what I’m saying at face value.”

I don’t understand how Meghan misunderstood the severity of the accident when Heather said Vicki was airlifted out of there and in the hospital. That sounds very serious to me even without any additional details. Ultimately, Meghan and Shannon both ended up looking heartless in response to Heather sharing the horrific news with them.

It’s clear that Heather put the blame for Shannon‘s reaction on Meghan, “After watching the episode I understand why Shannon didn’t want to go see Vicki. She didn’t understand the severity of the accident. She thought it was no big deal, so of course she wouldn’t rush over there. They aren’t friends and it makes no sense.”

RELATED: Vicki Gunvalson Does Not Care If She Ever Sees Shannon Again

I still think that hearing about someone Shannon used to be super close with is in the hospital should have been enough for her to go visit – especially since she had no one else who was there for her.

And the other thing that I don’t understand in regard to Meghan‘s reaction was that she was just at Vicki‘s birthday. Heather was also confused by that, “Meghan had just been at Vicki’s house for her birthday and brought her a gift. Again, that’s why I couldn’t get over the non-responsive attitude.”

While I do think that Meghan being the messenger did skew Shannon‘s view of the accident, Shannon did know that Vicki was in the hospital and that she reacted poorly (even given the information that she knew).

TELL US – DO YOU THINK IT’S FAIR FOR HEATHER TO BLAME MEGHAN FOR SHANNON’S REACTION TO VICKI BEING IN THE HOSPITAL?

Big Brother Spoilers: Final Head of Household Round 2 Winner!

We have the Big Brother spoilers from the Live Feeds for you on who won Head of Household round two in the final challenge of season 18. Before the second final HoH phase kicked off, James Huling told fellow veteran Nicole Franzel he was going to throw it to her, while telling Paul Abrahamian the exact opposite and that he couldn’t wait to win it!

Big Brother 18 host Julie Chen (CBS)

Big Brother 18 host Julie Chen (CBS)

There was a lot of speculation both inside the Big Brother 18 house between Paul and Nicole, and outside among the fans, which houseguest James was actually lying to. Talking to the cameras on the Big Brother Live Feeds, James seemed very confident that he would end up in the Final Two no matter what. He seems to believe it is extremely unlikely Paul would take Nicole to the end, or that Nicole would take Paul. So if he really believed that to be true, there was no reason for him not to throw the competition.

However, we know from watching the Live Feeds that James should be a lot more worried about his possibly ‘guaranteed’ spot in the Final Two. There are very good reasons Nicole might prefer to sit in front of the Jury with Paul instead of James, and she’s talked about that. Heck, you could even argue some decent reasons Paul might prefer to go up against Nicole over James, and Paul will be thinking hard about those as well.

Regardless, we really hoped that James would man up and fight for the chance to face off in the last round of the final Head of Household Competition to determine who would get to choose which house guests end up in the Final Two.

Unfortunately, we did not get to watch the second phase of the final HoH on the Live Feeds, but when they returned from blackout, we learned the person who won is… Nicole! Which just makes wonder… Did she win, or did James give it to her?

Big Brother 18 Recap: Memory Lane & Final HoH Round One

On Big Brother 18 tonight, we’ll take a walk down memory lane and look back over the crazy antics and drama of the season. More importantly, however, we’ll finally get to watch the first round of the final Head of Household Competition.

Final Head of Household

Normally, for many years now, Big Brother Live Feeds subscribers have always gotten to watch this round of the final HoH live. This season, we were totally blacked out with no explanation and didn’t get to watch any of it, although we did find out the spoilers on who won when the Feeds came back on.

Naturally, this blackout of the competition immediately led to a hoard of fans on social media claiming CBS didn’t let us watch so they could ‘rig’ the competition for the winner. While we aren’t going to jump on that bandwagon, we do think it was really nasty of CBS to suddenly take away one of the best end of season exclusives for Live Feeds viewers with no explanation.

All that aside, we have to let our annoyance with CBS go and move on to tonight’s special Friday night ‘Memory Lane’ episode. Most of the show this evening will be rehashing what’s gone on throughout the season, but host Julie Chen said on Wednesday night that we should get to at least see part of the first round of the final Head of Household Competition as well. If you can’t wait to find out who won that first round, you can check out the spoilers here.

Join us for our live Big Brother 18 recap of tonight’s show right here starting at 5:00 PM PT/8:00 PM ET! Please be sure to refresh this page frequently during the show for the latest updates!

More coming soon…

Bethenny Frankel Defends Skipping The Group Hug At The ‘Real Housewives Of New York’ Reunion

Bethenny Frankel

It kind of seemed like the Real Housewives of New York ladies were moving toward peace when Andy Cohen gathered them for a hug at the end of the reunion, but not all of them went in for the group hug. Bethenny Frankel sat to the side. And it wasn’t a good look for her.

Sure, I can get why hugging a bunch of people you just argued with could be like putting a band-aid on a broken limb, but it is step in a positive direction. So I can’t help wondering why Bethenny wasn’t down for the group hug. In a #TotalBethennyMove, the Skinnygirl defended her decision to abstain from the group hug.

It seems like everything Bethenny does (or doesn’t do) turns into an immediate news story and skipping this hug is no different, so it makes sense that Bethenny took to Twitter to defend herself.

When a viewer tweeted, “Bethenny no group hug?,” Bethenny quoted the question and replied with a curt response: “Nope.” Well, that doesn’t explain anything and we all saw her deny the affectionate gesture so her comment just shows that she is indifferent to the backlash coming her way.

Bethenny added a little more to the story when she wrote, “I don’t double kiss & I don’t fake hug. Thankfully, I had strep so it wasn’t an option anyway.”

So I guess Bethenny is saying that she doesn’t want to take any action that she doesn’t believe is genuine, which I understand, but the strep throat remark seems a little like back pedaling to me. I do believe she had strep throat, but I think Bethenny just didn’t want to hug people who spent hours insulting her. I mean, come on. Who would want to hug after all that?

I get that Andy was just trying to end the craziness on a positive note, but it was probably awkward for them all. At the same time, it isn’t a good look for Bethenny. I can see both sides with this one.

Some of our favorite reality TV stars were spotted out and about (all over the country!) and on the red carpet this week. Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval looked dapper as he attended The Buzzies, BuzzFeed’s Pre-Emmy party.

Kim Zolciak and Brielle Biermann have been doing press in NYC for the return of their show, Don’t Be Tardy. They stopped by the AOL headquarters, with Kim literally busting out of her top. Also out and about in NYC: Yolanda Hadid (minus a bra) and daughter Bella.

Terra Jole and Amber Rose were spotted behind the scenes prepping for Dancing With the Stars. Meanwhile, over in Atlanta, Kandi Burruss attended ESSENCE And Johnson & Johnson’s Path To Power event. Also below: Kim Kardashian in Florida (and missing a shirt), Snooki and JWoww in NYC, and more!

Kim Zolciak Calls Out Cynthia Bailey For Being “Two-Faced” Last Season; Says She Wouldn’t Put Up With Peter Thomas After That Video Surfaced

Don't Be Tardy Season Premiere recap

Just because Kim Zolciak isn’t on Real Housewives of Atlanta anymore, that doesn’t mean that she isn’t keeping up with the show. Not only is she tuning in, but she also a lot of opinions about the ladies. During the Watch What Happens Live after show, Kim called out Cynthia Bailey for being two faced last season. And she didn’t stop there.

Kim also talked about Cynthia’s violent altercation with Porsha Williams and that infamous video that surfaced of Cynthia’s soon-to-be ex Peter Thomas. Kim was not holding back- at all.

I’ve always liked Cynthia, but I really thought she was a terrible friend to Kenya Moore last season. Cynthia dropped Kenya the instant that NeNe Leakes blessed her with forgiveness and and a renewed friendship. It was shitty to say the least. Say what you want about Kenya, but she has always been a very loyal and supportive friend to CynthiaCynthia really hung her out to dry.

When asked if she thought Cynthia was two faced for doing this, Kim immediately responded with, “Duh” She just said what we were all thinking. Kim also read my mind when she said that it was “strange” that Cynthia got so offended by Porsha using the word “bitch” during that boat party. They were all throwing the word “bitch” out there the entire afternoon, so yeah Cynthia reacting so harshly really came out of nowhere. I don’t know if she was trying to get some screen time or if she just had a lot of frustration from her marriage that she was trying to unleash, but Porsha definitely didn’t deserve that.

And then there’s THAT video of Peter getting way too close to a woman that wasn’t Cynthia while they were still together. Kim didn’t have the most articulate response to the infamous video, but I really do get what she was trying to convey when she remarked,  “I actually watched it and I don’t even know how. But I watched it and it was pretty, I just wouldn’t put up with it.” Exactly. I have no idea how Cynthia stuck around for so long after that.

Kim always keeps it real and I definitely agree with her assessment of Cynthia’s antics from last season. Hopefully the next season is a better one for her.

Big Brother Spoilers: Will James Throw Next HoH Round to Nicole?

Big Brother spoilers coming from the Live Feeds are telling us there is a chance that James Huling may decide to intentionally throw the second round of the final Head of Household Competition this season to fellow veteran Nicole Franzel. Unless, of course, he’s really telling the truth to Paul that he intends to try to beat her in the comp, and is lying to Nicole to double his chances of getting to the Final Two.

Big Brother 18's James Huling (CBS)

Big Brother 18’s James Huling (CBS)

In Big Brother 18, as well as every previous season, there have been times when it was the smart move to throw a competition. James Huling has certainly thrown his fair share of them, both this season and during his previous run on the show. Deliberately choosing to let someone else win a round of the final Head of Household Competition of the season, however, is not just a lame move, it’s one that would make us refuse to vote for him if we were on the Jury and he ended up in the final two.

We would not be shocked if James did decide to throw the challenge, especially since Paul and Nicole have actually wondered if he already threw the first part of the final Head of Household Competition. (Nicole said on Wednesday night she thought it looked like he did, and Paul agreed it looked that way, but he’s wasn’t sure.) However, while James has told Nicole Franzel that he would throw the second round of the HoH to her, that’s not what he’s been telling Paul Abrahamian.

2016-09-16_10-40-43

James has been telling Nicole repeatedly that he would take her to the Final Two, and that he will throw the second round of the HoH to her if he can. Making sure to keep his bread buttered on both sides, James has been telling Paul that he wants to beat Nicole so they can go to the Final Two together in honor of their eliminated allies Victor Arroyo and Natalie Negrotti.

Nicole isn’t totally clueless to James basically trying to play both sides. She told Paul on Thursday afternoon, around 5:30 PM BBT, that she isn’t sure she actually believed James when he told her would throw the challenge. Neither of them believe that James can honestly think throwing the comp is the best game move for him, but speculate maybe he’s just trying to make sure he will get dragged to the Final Two by whichever of them wins the final round of the last HoH.

Just a few minutes later, James and Paul were talking about the competition while Nicole was in the Diary Room, and James said he is confident he could actually beat Nicole in the challenge. That’s certainly a far cry from telling Nicole he will throw the comp to her.

bb18-live-feeds-0915-6

When James was alone in front of the cameras (around 6:30 PM BBT on Thursday), he told the Live Feeds watchers that he believes Nicole does not want to take Paul to the end, and he doesn’t think Paul wants to take Nicole to the end. So he thinks that he’s pretty much guaranteed to make the Final Two no matter what happens in the rest of the final Head of Household Competition. He shouldn’t be so confident about that, and really should work his butt off to win, because Nicole has expressed the possibility she might choose to go to the Final Two with Paul instead of James if she gets the choice.

Later in the evening, around 11PM BBT, Paul told Nicole that he doesn’t think James stands any chance of beating her in the second round of the final HoH. Nicole told Paul she believes James has been studying for the competition, despite saying he would throw it, but Paul said he didn’t think James was studying. Paul told Nicole if she wins the round, they will go to the end together.

Just a little while later, James once again told Paul that he wants to win the challenge so he and Paul and go together to the end. He said does not want to end up in third place because that would be the worst. I certainly have to agree with that.

So who is James telling the truth to, and who is he lying to? Will he actually throw the second round of the final HoH to Nicole as he promised her, or do his best to beat her as he told Paul he would? James may think he has it in the bag to go to the Final Two no matter what happens, but that’s a dangerous way to play the game, especially when you are this close to the end.

Third place means nothing, but second place at least pays out a hefty bundle of cash, even if it’s not a half million dollars. And there is absolutely no guarantee Paul or Nicole would definitely decide to take James to the end with them. If James really wants to play the best game possibly for himself to at least earn that second place money, then he better battle for that HoH round win as hard as he possibly can.
