Big Brother Spoilers: Will James Throw Next HoH Round to Nicole?

Big Brother spoilers coming from the Live Feeds are telling us there is a chance that James Huling may decide to intentionally throw the second round of the final Head of Household Competition this season to fellow veteran Nicole Franzel. Unless, of course, he’s really telling the truth to Paul that he intends to try to beat her in the comp, and is lying to Nicole to double his chances of getting to the Final Two.

In Big Brother 18, as well as every previous season, there have been times when it was the smart move to throw a competition. James Huling has certainly thrown his fair share of them, both this season and during his previous run on the show. Deliberately choosing to let someone else win a round of the final Head of Household Competition of the season, however, is not just a lame move, it’s one that would make us refuse to vote for him if we were on the Jury and he ended up in the final two.

We would not be shocked if James did decide to throw the challenge, especially since Paul and Nicole have actually wondered if he already threw the first part of the final Head of Household Competition. (Nicole said on Wednesday night she thought it looked like he did, and Paul agreed it looked that way, but he’s wasn’t sure.) However, while James has told Nicole Franzel that he would throw the second round of the HoH to her, that’s not what he’s been telling Paul Abrahamian.

James has been telling Nicole repeatedly that he would take her to the Final Two, and that he will throw the second round of the HoH to her if he can. Making sure to keep his bread buttered on both sides, James has been telling Paul that he wants to beat Nicole so they can go to the Final Two together in honor of their eliminated allies Victor Arroyo and Natalie Negrotti.

Nicole isn’t totally clueless to James basically trying to play both sides. She told Paul on Thursday afternoon, around 5:30 PM BBT, that she isn’t sure she actually believed James when he told her would throw the challenge. Neither of them believe that James can honestly think throwing the comp is the best game move for him, but speculate maybe he’s just trying to make sure he will get dragged to the Final Two by whichever of them wins the final round of the last HoH.

Just a few minutes later, James and Paul were talking about the competition while Nicole was in the Diary Room, and James said he is confident he could actually beat Nicole in the challenge. That’s certainly a far cry from telling Nicole he will throw the comp to her.

When James was alone in front of the cameras (around 6:30 PM BBT on Thursday), he told the Live Feeds watchers that he believes Nicole does not want to take Paul to the end, and he doesn’t think Paul wants to take Nicole to the end. So he thinks that he’s pretty much guaranteed to make the Final Two no matter what happens in the rest of the final Head of Household Competition. He shouldn’t be so confident about that, and really should work his butt off to win, because Nicole has expressed the possibility she might choose to go to the Final Two with Paul instead of James if she gets the choice.

Later in the evening, around 11PM BBT, Paul told Nicole that he doesn’t think James stands any chance of beating her in the second round of the final HoH. Nicole told Paul she believes James has been studying for the competition, despite saying he would throw it, but Paul said he didn’t think James was studying. Paul told Nicole if she wins the round, they will go to the end together.

Just a little while later, James once again told Paul that he wants to win the challenge so he and Paul and go together to the end. He said does not want to end up in third place because that would be the worst. I certainly have to agree with that.

So who is James telling the truth to, and who is he lying to? Will he actually throw the second round of the final HoH to Nicole as he promised her, or do his best to beat her as he told Paul he would? James may think he has it in the bag to go to the Final Two no matter what happens, but that’s a dangerous way to play the game, especially when you are this close to the end.

Third place means nothing, but second place at least pays out a hefty bundle of cash, even if it’s not a half million dollars. And there is absolutely no guarantee Paul or Nicole would definitely decide to take James to the end with them. If James really wants to play the best game possibly for himself to at least earn that second place money, then he better battle for that HoH round win as hard as he possibly can.

Meghan King Edmonds Addresses The Backlash Over Not Rushing To Vicki Gunvalson’s Side

Meghan King Edmonds defends herself in this week’s Real Housewives of Orange County blog. She defends herself for not rushing to the hospital with Vicki Gunvalson and she also defends herself against negative viewers who are convinced she’s drinking alcohol during her pregnancy.

Meghan starts off by standing by her initial reaction of not rushing over to the hospital by Vicki.  “I’ve been getting a lot of backlash over the last two weeks for not visiting Vicki in the ER and while I do feel bad if I let anyone down, I still stand by my decision to not drive to the hospital. How many of you can honestly say if you were in my shoes, you would drop everything and rush to the ER? If Vicki had been admitted to the hospital, it would have been a completely different situation, but that wasn’t the case. I was texting her throughout the couple hours she was in the ER to make sure she was alright. If Vicki wanted me there, she would’ve have said so while I was texting her. She didn’t let me know that she needed clothes or a ride home while we were texting either.”

Of her many reasons for not going, her pregnancy was at the top of the list, but the way Vicki has treated her played a big part in it, too. “I was a newly pregnant mother-to-be who should stay clear of hospital germs, I’m the “non-friend” out of all the ladies (Vicki said herself that she doesn’t want to be “friends friends friends” with me), I’ve historically been treated badly by Vicki, and I didn’t understand the severity of the situation. Just one of those reasons alone is why it makes perfect sense that I didn’t rush to the ER to be by her side. Not to mention, my mom is a nurse so I know that only family would be allowed back in the ER with her. What good would it have been for Vicki or myself for me to just be sitting in the waiting room all night? It’s so frustrating that there are all these little things add up, yet I’m the only one really taking the fall for this.”

Meghan is pretty angry that Heather and Tamra were so rude to her about the whole thing. “One of the things that bothered me the most about this episode was seeing how Heather and Tamra treated me – especially Heather. I’m friends with both of them and up until just recently, neither of them wanted anything to do with Vicki, but they were really quick to stand up for Vicki and turn on me.”

“Last week, you saw Kelly cracking open a beer and laughing about it less than three hours after the accident, and now this week, we see two open bottles of champs in front of Heather, Kelly, and Tamra’s mom when they called Shannon and me. Heather made it a point to scold me for not asking how she was after the accident, but then I see them drinking champs right after, so what am I supposed to think? If they were so concerned about Vicki, they would have spent less time drinking champs and calling me, and more time figuring out how they were going to leave to go be with their friend. Heather leaves her kids with babysitters all the time, why would it have been an issue for her to leave one kid to go to the hospital? I’m still in shock over Heather’s comment about ‘maybe it was reckless for me to get pregnant.’ I never would have expected that from her, just like I never would have expected Tamra to tell me to “go to hell.” It was really hard to watch those moments back.”

But then Meghan changes her tune a bit about Vicki and says that she feels bad for letting her down?  “I’m happy that I apologized to both Vicki and Heather and I honestly do feel bad if I let either of them down, so I’m hoping all of the drama around this accident can stop now. Vicki has even said that everything is fine between us and she was glad I came over to her house to check on her – so if Vicki is fine with everything, why is everyone else still making a big deal about this?”

And now about those drinking accusations, she says: “One other thing that I’ve addressed multiple times and think it’s ridiculous that I keep having to commenting on, is that I have not had a sip of alcohol since I got pregnant. The scenes where I’m pregnant, I’m drinking ginger ale or lemonade – no alcohol whatsoever. It is possible to drink other beverages out of champ glasses.”

Meghan ends her blog with, “You’ve heard everyone’s sides of the stories now, so can we please move on from the Glamis trip that I wasn’t even at or involved in?”

Jacqueline Laurita Dishes On RHONJ Drama, Caroline & Dina, Spinoffs, Plastic Surgery, And More!

Jacqueline Laurita has discovered a new way to drunk rant – is this good or bad? She recently posted two videos answering viewer questions about her life, the show, and all things in between. Interestingly, Jacqueline ignored most of the questions about Teresa Giudice (she was asked over and over again where they currently stand) but she did address her situation with Dina Manzo, drop hints about the reunion, dish on almost landing a spinoff, and more.

Jacqueline is preparing for the Real Housewives Of New Jersey reunion, which films next month. Jacqueline predicts it’ll “be a good one” and “extremely eventful,” adding, “I think it’s gonna be pretty intense.”

The remainder of the season is also really dramatic and will go in surprising directions, although Jacqueline warns, “they cut so much out” of the backstory. She’s annoyed that the viewers aren’t getting more information. 

Jacqueline admits she was “surprised at Melissa” this season (she did not mean that as a compliment) and has not spoken to Melissa or Teresa since filming wrapped. She also has “no idea” how Juicy is doing in prison and Chris hasn’t spoken to him. 

Jacqueline insists she’s no longer as emotionally invested in the show as she once was, and although she finds editing annoying sometimes, she understands it’s meant to be “entertainment.”

“I found it really hard to express myself when I first started doing Housewives because I was always taught if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. So I was very uncomfortable,” Jacqueline explains.

She bit her tongue a lot because she didn’t want to hurt people’s feelings or be mean. “It was really hard for me,” she continues. “But then after you’ve been on for a few years you’re just trained [that] if you’re thinking it to just say it, so that the viewers understand what you’re thinking. And it makes better TV.” 

“It’s frustrating sometimes because things that air don’t really tell the full story of what happened in a scene, so there’s always more to the story that people don’t see,” describes Jacqueline. “But then I look at it as, it’s entertainment. If people are loving me or hating me – as long as they’re engaged in the show. I don’t have to deal with them in my real life. People are judging you for what they see and they’re not getting the full story, so I don’t get offended.”

“There’s things that I’m shocked, over the seasons, didn’t make the air. Cause I’m pretty open and I put a lot out there. I don’t really get embarrassed because everybody has shit in their lives, and has ups and downs. The people who are gonna be in my life, are gonna be in my life.”

“We don’t have any say in editing,” adds Jacqueline. The Housewives do not get to view unedited footage, only the final episode cuts.

Jacqueline maintains that reacting to the other women and the drama is her job, so she tries to be real in those moments, although she separates her real life from her TV life when the filming stops (yeah right, twitter queen!). 

She disagrees that being required to discuss certain topics or instances makes the show scripted, or that producers influence the drama this way. “It’s pretty real. You’re just put in unusual situations you wouldn’t normally put yourself in, but whatever happens in those situations is real,” she clarifies. “It’s not scripted at all.”

“When you’re cast to film on a show, you’re cast to film together so you have to talk about each other. Would I be talking about certain cast members if I wasn’t on the show? Probably not,” Jacqueline says. “But when you’re all forced to film together things happen and you gotta talk about whatever’s going on in your life.”

“In a typical situation if I was fighting with somebody I’d probably just ignore them and walk away, but when you’re on TV and you’re being filmed – if I were to just walk away every time you guys would be bored to death. So you’re kind of trained to just, whatever’s on your mind, express yourself and think out loud.” 

“Then of course you can’t just let it go, because you gotta film telling everybody whatever happened in the scene,” Jacqueline adds. “You gotta make sure that’s caught on camera so the viewers know what’s going on too. So that gets a little redundant.”

She is friends with some of the ladies in real life, naming Kathy, Rosie, Siggy, and Dolores, but others are just co-workers or acquaintances. 

“I love Rosie,” Jacqueline gushes. “Rosie is amazing. I love Kathy and Rosie.”

She also adores the new girls Siggy Flicker and Dolores Catania. 

“I love Siggy. She’s a very kind person. She’s very much like me season 1: she just wants peace with everybody, she just wants everyone to get along. She doesn’t really know the full history of everything and she’s just navigating her way through it. I think she’s a great addition to the show – her and Dolores. I actually pushed for them to be on the show. To be honest, I recruited them. They’re both great. I talk to Siggy and Dolores all the time.” 

From what Jacqueline is hearing, both Siggy and Dolores will be asked back next season.

She describes her relationship with Teresa as “we’re like the sisters who rip each other’s hair out and the next second we’re hugging. It’s really weird.” 

“Never say never,” Jacqueline shrugs of a future friendship with Teresa. “This is gonna sound crazy, but my favorite Housewife to watch is Teresa!” Jacqueline laughs. “I just think she’s so funny and she makes great TV.” 

 Jacqueline now takes her relationships with on-screen enemies in stride. “I wouldn’t quit if anybody returned on the show,” she promises. “Listen – I’m the last person to be afraid of confrontation. I never have a problem with confrontation. I do best with one-on-one confrontation, but I don’t get intimidated by people.”  

“You’ve gotta film with those people even if you’re uncomfortable around those people,” Jacqueline says, “so that’s when things happen: because you don’t really wanna be there, but you gotta be there!” My, my – miss I once skipped a reunion has certainly had a change of heart! “I never regret things I do because it always leads to other things.”

Jacqueline was asked several times if she feels famous – she doesn’t. When she’s not filming, she primarily hangs out at home and with friends and family who know her well. 

She explains that being part of RHONJ definitely creates a divide between her real life and her reality TV life, and certain aspects of her real reality are never seen. “I have a lot of friends who are not part of the show and would not be part of RHONJ in a million years. It’s hard hanging out with them when we’re filming, because we get so involved with filming.” 

She also says filming never really wraps since they do “pick up interviews,” or the confessional one-on-ones, throughout the season so production can get soundbites from each woman that coincides with whatever scenes will likely make the final cuts. RHONJ is no longer actively filming that Jacqueline knows of. 

Jacqueline also commented a bit on Caroline and Dina’s feud – she is not involved this time.

“Caroline and I are good,” she says. She talks to Albie and Chris more than Lauren.

“We’re peaceful right now, but I haven’t seen [Dina] in a few years. We haven’t talked at all.” Jacqueline isn’t sure if Dina and Chris are in contact, but they were recently on a “group text” thread, and Dina did a shout-out to promote The Little Kernel on social media. She is still close with Jamie Laurita, her BIL, and they talk frequently. 

“It’s unfortunate with Caroline and Dina,” Jacqueline muses. “I guess it’s like that with a big family – it like goes in cycles. Never say never. Eventually people come around. Did you guys ever think Teresa and Melissa would be friends? She finally took my advice! I don’t care if it’s fake; it doesn’t matter. It’s so much better for the parents, the kids… It’s so much better for Teresa to have a relationship with her brother, and all she has to do is respect his wife to make it work.” 

Jacqueline has not seen “freaking psycho” Danielle Staub, but she heard a rumor that her name is on Danielle’s “kill list.” (aka the list of people Danielle wants to murder). Jacqueline doesn’t think Danielle will ever return to Real Housewives Of New Jersey because she’s “sort of a liability” but says Danielle “begs” to return every season. 

Moving over to the personal side of things, Jacqueline shares an update on Ashlee and the baby and talks plastic surgery, finances, spinoffs, and how she feels about Housewives from other cities. 

Ashlee is doing great. She, Pete, and the baby are currently living with Jacqueline, and she’s thrilled. “I’m in love with Cameron! I just wanna kiss his face off. He’s the cutest little baby.” They’re each taking shifts watching the baby breathe while he sleeps. 

She doesn’t know what she wants the baby to call her. “I’m still trying to find a name for myself. I’ve been joking around saying I’m ‘glam’ma, but I don’t know what to call myself. I thought of Gigi. Gigi sounds like someone with her face pulled back really tight and perky tits when they’re old,” Jaq laughs. “Yeah, I could take Gigi!”

Nick is also doing really well. He goes to school, has help at home, and is adjusting to Cameron. “I don’t know if he quite understands it yet,” Jacqueline concedes.

She denies any recent plastic surgery. 

“I actually have not done one injection or filler since right before we were filming Housewives,” Jaq maintains. She demonstrates moving her eyebrows and explains that half of her face moves, while the other side has the remains of the fillers and is still semi-frozen. She is adamant that the only permanent surgery she’s done are nose, tummy tuck, and eyes. “It was free – who wouldn’t do it?!” 

She’s also had a boob reduction three times. “They keep growing back so I’m gonna do it again,” she giggles. 

Jacqueline‘s friendly with several other Housewives from other shows. “There’s women from each of the Housewives that I talk to. Tamra and Gretchen, I love. Carole… and Kim Zolciak. I love Kandi – she’s a sweetheart.” She recently ate at Lisa Vanderpump‘s restaurant and really likes her. “I love Andy Cohen,” she adds. “I think he’s brilliant.”

The Laurita’s finances are also improving. “Things are definitely going better with us. Little Kernel is doing aaaaamazing – it’s in almost 4,000 stores already. BLK is finally making money!” 

They’re still in their house but doing updates because they still want to sell. Jacqueline’s budget includes getting Starbucks only a couple times per week now [Side-Eye], but since Pumpkin Spice has been out she’s been getting it every day. The number one perk of being part of the show has been the connections she’s made in the autism community.

After leaving RHONJ, Jacqueline discussed doing a spinoff, but decided against it. “I just think that takes a lot of work with it just focused on you. I’d rather be part of a group to be honest with you. If I had a show it’d probably be called ‘Livin’ Laurita Loca’.” 

Jacqueline also revealed her funniest moment that never made the air. “I shouldn’t even talk about it…” she begins, “but we did this Halloween thing one time and Teresa dressed up as Danielle Staub!”

“She put underwear on with an earring, like her thing was pierced – like nude panties (over her clothes),” Jacqueline laughs.
“It was terrible!”

Other random tidbits – Jacqueline’s uncle was a piano player for Frank Sinatra. And she’s traveled the entire length of the Alaskan highway in an RV. 

She’s also decided she’ll be doing weekly Facebook Live sessions after each episode airs.

Big Brother 18 Spoilers: Does James Have the Votes to Beat Paul?

Big Brother 18 ends in 5 days. This means that the final three spend more of the remaining days dreaming about winning the $500,000. They also spend it lying and making final 2 deals, and convincing others that their final 2 deal is more true than others.

Last night, James Huling started to speak to “America” about his game. He praised himself for having a good social game. He told the viewers that barely winning any competitions proved that you can go far in the Big Brother game if you have a good social game.

He failed to realize that his social game helped him a little. However, the main reason James made it this far is because people didn’t see him as much of a threat. 

Around 6:47PM BBT (09/15/16), he mentioned all the votes he thought he already had sealed. He said Natalie Negrotti, Michelle Meyer, Bridgette Dunning, and Da’Vonne Rogers. He also said he would have Corey Brooks‘s vote against Paul Abrahamian. Many fans have argued that Paul played a way better game than James.

However, with such an emotionally driven jury, James’ counting of his votes might actually be more accurate than people believe. He would clearly have Natalie, Michelle, and probably Corey’s vote against Paul.

Things get complicated when you add in Bridgette, Da’Vonne, Zakiyah Everette, Nicole Franzel, and Paulie Calafiore‘s votes. Bridgette would vote based on who she thought played the best game. She might also still be a little bitter about James’ one big game move that cost her her game partner Frank Eudy.

Da’Vonne and Bridgette have become a dynamic duo in the jury house, so we expect them to vote together. We expect the same for Paulie and Zakiyah. Paulie and Zakiyah were both close with Paul and James at one point.

Nicole told Corey she would vote for Paul over James. We expect Nicole to stay true to this, and if she’s the final juror, she probably won’t have time to sway Corey to vote the same as her. It seems more likely that Da’Vonne and Bridgette will vote for James than not, especially Da’Vonne and James having that parent bond.

We think Paulie respects Paul’s game more, so would ultimately vote him over James. Zakiyah will vote the same as Paulie.

So the votes (hypothetically) seem most likely to fall:

Da’Vonne voting for James
Bridgette voting for James
Zakiyah voting for Paul
Paulie voting for Paul
Michelle voting for James
Natalie voting for James
Victor voting for Paul
Corey voting for James
Nicole voting for Paul

Corey will probably be the deciding vote that gives either Paul or James the money. At the moment, it seems like he’d be loyal to James in the end over Paul.

Ramona Singer And Bethenny Frankel Call Out Luann De Lesseps; Call Her “LIEann”

The Real Housewives of New York reunion episodes were painful to watch. It was wild seeing the ladies go in on Bethenny Frankel for her delivery of news after she told Luann de Lesseps that Tom D’Agostino kissed another woman in public (and was caught on camera).

Everyone was so caught up in shooting the messenger that pretty much no one condemned the cheater himself. Luann even went so far as to blame herself for getting in a fight with Tom the night that he strayed. It was painful to see her disrespect herself in that way. And now Bethenny and Ramona Singer are calling Luann out on social media.

I love Luann and I’m happy that she seems so happy, but this whole thing is just crazy to me. She really seemed more upset by Tom being so public with his behavior than by the behavior himself. It was rally disheartening and as much as I feel bad for her humiliation, it is hard to deny that she is hurting herself with her own reaction.

Don’t get me wrong, good people do bad things and it doesn’t necessarily mean that they are awful humans, but Luann blaming herself for Tom kissing another woman and deflecting on Bethenny was just not at all okay. 

When I was scrolling through my social media feeds this morning I just thought that Ramona and Bethenny got the new iOS update and autocorrect just kept misspelling “Luann” when they kept writing out “Lieann” Then a minute or two later, I realized that the joke flew over my head – but in my defense this was a pre-coffee social media scroll. They were calling her LIEann and I totally get it now. SMH, me. But anyway, they’re not kidding around. They mean business.

Ramona posted a screen shot to promote the reunion episode and wrote, “Reunion part 3. #really #lianne?” in the caption to a photo her holding up her phone with evidence on the screen. So it’s safe to assume that Ramona will not be attending Luann and Tom’s wedding, not that she was invited.

Bethenny continued the Luann insults when she tweeted, “It’s my fault Lieann’s man made out w a playmate the pm before her engagement party & I should’ve showed the shit stirrer the pic. #imean.” It really does seem like Luann is more upset by the news becoming public than by Tom actually cheating on her pretty much immediately after he proposed. Bethenny agrees with that sentiment since she wrote “not getting caught” in response to a fan wondering about Luann’s “definition of cheating.” Cold, but true.

When a fan tweeted, “@Bethenny calling Luann “Lieann” was the realest thing this whole season #rhony,” Bethenny quoted it and wrote, “At least she is consistent.” Bethenny is pulling no punches, here. She is so done with getting ripped on for sharing the truth.

Not only did Luann take issue with Bethenny for telling her the truth instead of letting her read about it in the press, but Dorinda Medley seemed to be super offended by this as well. A viewer wrote, “Why did @DorindaMedley focus more on HOW @Bethenny told @CountessLuann vs what a schmuck Tom was to cheat on Luann? #RHONY”

I have been wondering this for weeks! I can get being annoyed that Bethenny told the other cast members about it first, but it really didn’t seem like she was trying to gossip. It honestly came off like Bethenny was just trying to gauge opinions about how to handle the news. In response to that tweet, Bethenny wrote, “That’s the million dollar question. It’s the twilight zone.” Honestly though. People are really emphasizing the wrong thing with this controversy. 

It was also so painful and awkward watching Luann try to sell her relationship and justify why it’s so great with the yacht, the ring, skiing, and other random aspects. Ramona echoed those thoughts when she tweeted, “If I hear her say the yacht the yacht one more time…she is beginning to sound like #Tattoo from #FantasyIsland TV show #theplane #the plane.”

Is it worth lounging on a yacht if your man is making out with other women in public? I would like to think that most women would answer “no” in response to that question. 

Initially, I felt sorry that Luann was humiliated in public after bragging about being in love and getting that yacht, but it is hard to have sympathy when she seems to be perpetuating the joke and making the situation worse.

A fan wrote, “@Bethenny Luann says she and Tom have the same sense of humor – does that mean they both like her being the butt of the joke #RHONY” Bethenny quoted that and replied with, “Interesting choice of words,” because what else can she say at this point? Luann is on a mission to make Bethenny and even Ramona the enemy in this situation when all they’ve tried to do was look out for her and prevent her from looking like a fool in public. It really is a sad situation and it’s been made even worse by Luann turning a blind eye and emphasizing the wrong things.

Flipping Out Season Finale Recap: The End Is Nigh

On last night’s season 9 finale of Flipping Out, it was the end of one era and the beginning of another. As Jeff Lewis and Gage Edward say goodbye to Zoila Chavez living with them, they make room for the new life who will be joining them all too soon. When Jeff and Gage see their daughter move on an ultrasound, that new era becomes more of a reality than ever.

Despite these emotional transitions, Jeff and the gang must still keep up their hustle. So they take a job with Real Housewives of Orange County star (and close friend of Jeff’s) Shannon Beador to decorate her new home. And her budget is HUGE!

At Valley Vista, Jeff is consulting with Vanina Alfaro about his newest plan: Moving the entire kitchen into their office! Gage is not happy about his world being disrupted. Plus, he doesn’t like his new desk setup. He’s got to stare at Jeff all day! Jeff just wants as much done as possible ASAP. He doesn’t care how displaced his staff need to be in the mean time. 

Bell Canyon is coming along nicely now that the water issues have been addressed and the entire dark Tudor woodwork has been removed. It’s basically a blank slate. Jeff consults Meera and Samir on decor choices, which they seem amenable to, but Jeff is freaking out about how many hours he’s put into this project already. He needs to change the way he does business in order to make these large jobs worthwhile. In other words, he needs to be more efficient. 

Back home, Bill The Architect (the one babysitting Jason The Architect) comes over to consult about the model of Hollywood Jeff and Gage have put together. Jason is supposed to join them too, but he’s of course running late. Bill delivers some bad news: Jeff really needs to finish this job with Jason, despite their differences. He was the original architect, after all, even if he has proven to be ridiculously incompetent. Jeff wishes he would have just fired Jason’s sorry butt back when he had the chance.   

“We just want it to end,” sighs Jeff, who practically wants to slap drywall up in the house, then just sell it. They’ve wasted months designing a house – and a pool – that they can’t build. The city rejected their plans! Jason took so long with the renderings though, that they’re just getting the bad news now. Jeff agrees to work with Jason until the design is over, but he’s moving to Bill after the build begins. Jason wanders in at the tail end of the meeting, clueless. Which seems fitting. 

In a private plane to Chico, Jeff and Gage are bringing Jenni Pulos along for a hospital tour and a 6-month ultrasound with their surrogate, Alexandra. They plan to fly to the hospital when Alexandra goes into labor as well, so this journey is also a test run. 

At the ultrasound, Jeff, Gage, and Jenni look on as the baby’s image lights up on screen. She’s turning her head and her body! She has all of her parts in place! The guys cannot believe their eyes, or their ears, which hear their baby’s heartbeat sounding throughout the room. “This just got real. It’s exciting,” admits Jeff. Jenni wipes away a tear seeing Jeff and Gage’s baby, thrilled for them and hopeful that she, too, may have another baby one day. 

After the ultrasound, they all drive around with Alexandra, who Jeff still feels slightly uncomfortable with. It’s just weird for him to define this relationship, which is not one with set boundaries. Will he and Gage still be texting Alexandra every day after the baby is born? Is this a business transaction or a friendship of sorts? The boundaries are blurred. But wait – aren’t fuzzy boundaries Jeff’s absolute specialty!? 

On the hospital tour, Jeff realizes what a close, emotional experience the birth will be. Alexandra wants her mother in the room, for example, but Jeff isn’t so sure he’s comfortable with that. Who makes the decisions!? For his part, Gage is just freaked out he might see lady parts soon. Icky, eerie lady parts that have strange phenomena coming forth from them! 

Jeff, Gage, and Jenni join Alexandra and her parents out for lunch afterward, which is sweet, if not a little bit awkward. Jeff claims he’s not worried at all about the birth or raising this baby. Gage throws a bullsh*t flag on that play! He knows Jeff is scared sh*tless, despite his bravado. Alexandra’s parents tell Jeff and Gage they’ll be fabulous parents, and everyone leaves with big hugs. Jeff feels a touch better about having Alexandra’s mom in the room for the birth after all. Plus, she can hold Gage’s hand. 

Wow. It’s Zoila’s last week living with Jeff. <wipes tear> She’s starting her new 3-day work week soon, and she’s moving in with her daughter, Carolina to boot. Zoila says this is happening at the right time for her, but she is sad about leaving her “roomie” of 12 years (her employer for 16). She’s been dusting the tops of Jeff’s light bulbs for over a decade and a half! But now she’ll only have to do it thrice a week, if at all. It’s a sweet deal. 

But before Zoila’s emotional goodbye, Jeff, Jenni, and Vanina meet Shannon Beador at a furniture store to choose items for her new home. Jeff loves working with Shannon, as she’s a close friend with MAJOR dollars. Her budget is basically unlimited, so he can go nutso! #MyLifeDream 

Shannon wants to update her look from granny’s attic to coastal chic. Jeff suggests lots of overpriced ottomans and mini un-sittable chairs to do the job! Since Shannon sold her house completely furnished, she has to start over from scratch. Jeff tries to bury Shannon in some rugs and convince her on buying a marble table before they go, which Shannon pretty much just rolls with. Jeff is her Dr. Moon of home decor, and she’s ready to buy anything he’s selling! 

At lunch later, Shannon asks about the baby. Have they feng shui’d the house? Have they gotten their homeopathic remedies prepared yet? Have they recorded their voices so that the baby can hear them before birth? Shannon warns that the baby’s bed might be in the DEATH POSITION!! Jeff’s like, meh. Death position or not, he’ll worry about design aesthetics first. 

Shannon regales the group with a story of her latest RHOC outing which involved another fight amongst the vile harpies castmates. Jeff thinks it’s funny how those ladies just love to stir the sh*t continually. Maybe they’re making some sort of homeopathic remedy for “How To Stay D-List Famous Forever?” 

In the car with Jenni later, Jeff admits he’s stressed about how he’ll manage his time between work and family once the baby comes. How will he find the time to parent when he can barely find time to use his breath spray right now?

Bell Canyon is done and looks AH-mazing!!! Meera is in love with Jeff’s work. But Jeff’s next client, Brady, has proven to be a bit more difficult. Though by the end of her remodel, she too is thrilled with the finished product – a gorgeous new kitchen. It’s sleek and modern, yet comfortable and livable. Jeff walks away pleased from both sites.  

Back at Valley Vista, Zoila is ready to go. Jeff says Zoila truly is his mother figure, “So my mom lives with me, and has lived with me for 12 years. She was here long before Gage.” Jeff knows the situation needs to change, but it’s a difficult transition. Jenni predicts that Zoila will still spend nights at the house when the baby comes. I think she’s right.

At the curb, the Uber pulls up and Gage hugs Zoila in a very tender moment. We see a montage of Jeff and Zoila from the many years of FO footage, and I admit, it’s making me weirdly sad! I need Dr. Donna and her gigantic hair to give me some coping strategies right now!! This is just too sad/strange/final. Jeff, in typical form, jokes his way through the emotional scene, sending Zoila off in a janky Uber – that at least has air conditioning – toward her new life. 

As Valley Vista construction marches on, Gage hopes their September deadline (which they’re 3 months out from) is still feasible. In the car later, Jenni offers them advice on the many, many items they’ll need for the baby. They have no house to live in, let alone a finished nursery, but Jeff wants to buy everything NOW. And he wants to drag Jenni, Megan Weaver, and Vanina along for the ride, which Gage thinks is just plain weird. Jeff thinks Gage’s nesting habits are weird though. He’s apparently making brownies out of nowhere these days. 

The nursery progress, much like Jeff and Gage’s knowledge about babies, is minimal. Plus, there’s water damage, mold, mildew, and asbestos. Fun times! By the time the baby’s born, an entire half of Valley Vista will need to be constructed. “This is the money pit,” sighs Jeff. What he should do is move out of this house, but what he will do is push forward with this mess, hoping the baby can sleep through construction.

Gage wonders if Jeff is continuing this chaos to distract from the baby on the way? “Hope she doesn’t come early,” says Gage. Well, it should be very soon. Here’s hoping she’s got somewhere to sleep by now! 

And with a final tribute to Casey, Jeff’s sweet dog who passed away this year, season 9 of Flipping Out is a wrap. 

I’m just going to put it all out there right now. I LOVE THIS SHOW! I love Jeff, I love Zoila, I love Jenni, I love the animals, and I’ve unexpectedly grown to love me some Gage. This is the one show where I find myself rooting for the “characters” when they’re acting insane, rather than wishing Bravo would simply remove them from my TV screen forever. And Jeff is the one Bravolebrity that I would love to meet in person, even though he would probably insult me, my family, and my home decorating skills in the span of 30 seconds.

It’s all love over here, despite everything. And I have a feeling it is for Jeff and Gage too. So, me and my (possibly delusional!) big love for these guys hopes that they are able to get their happily ever after with their new precious girl. A baby changes everything, after all. (Maybe even Jeff Lewis.)

Lauren Manzo Pregnant – Expecting First Child With Husband Vito Scalia

Congratulations are in order! Caroline Manzo‘s daughter Lauren Manzo is expecting her first child with husband Vito Scalia.

On the Manzo’d With Children season three trailer, it was pretty clear that the struggle to get pregnant is Lauren’s story line. Thankfully this story has a happy ending and an even better beginning is a about to start.

Caroline will be joining her sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita, whose daughter Ashlee Holmes gave birth to her first son, as a new grandma.

Lauren and Vito shared with People, “We are so excited to be expecting our first child, due in early 2017. What a crazy year it has been for us. Life is full of wonderful surprises!”

They don’t know the baby’s gender, but it is something that they plan to find out during the pregnancy. “We do plan to find out the sex,” shared Lauren, “and I’m team ‘girl’ while Vito is team ‘boy!'”  

As expected, the Manzos are pumped about this news, and they have shared their excitement on social media.

Caroline posted a photo of Lauren and her baby bump on Instagram with the caption: “My beautiful little girl is going to be a mommy. Congratulations @laurenmanzo & @vitoscalia3. We are over the moon with happiness for you both!” And of course she quoted the People story on Twitter and added some cute emojis to share her congratulations there as well.

Lauren’s brother Albie Manzo quoted a tweet with the link to the People story and added a smiley face emoji. Not only that, but he posted twice on Instagram about the big news. In one, he reposted a photo of Lauren and Vito with a sweet caption: “I am absolutely horrible at keeping secrets so you can imagine how happy I am to finally be able to say @laurenmanzo is pregnant!!!! I am so happy for you both and excited for what’s to come. Love you guys!!!!” Aaaww.

Albie also posted a screenshot of a text conversation with his own dad talking about the pregnancy with another adorable caption: “Of all the texts I have ever received this one is my favorite. Uncle Albie does have kind of a nice ring to it, no? #BabyScalia.”

It’s clear baby Scalia is going to have a lot of love!

Chris Manzo also shared his excitement over his sister’s pregnancy on social media. He posted the same photo as Caroline and wrote, “My amazing sister is pregnant and is going to be an amazing mother. Congratulations Lauren and Vito!!!! Love you both.” That’s so sweet.

Via tweet, Chris admitted, “It was a next to impossible secret to keep. I am happy I can say it now.” He also joked, “As of now @Laurenmanzo is thinking of naming her child Cheese or Mongoose. Said she’s looking for something ‘Hollywood'” Obviously he’s kidding, but even if he wasn’t, I don’t think Caroline would ever let that happen. Ever.

Lauren’s cousin and new mom Ashlee is pumped her son will have a cousin around the same age. Ashlee tweeted, “Yay! The secret is out! So happy for @Laurenmanzo and @VitoScalia3! Cam is gonna have a little buddy.”

I can’t help wondering if Dina Manzo is going to publicly react to the news. It is awkward timing considering Dina’s recent Twitter rant about Caroline. Hopefully the new addition can help bring the family back together.
