Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard about the wild lawsuit going down with Blake Lively. The actress claims she was on the receiving end of a smear campaign, so when Summer House alum Hannah Berner called her the C-word during a recent Netflix special, it definitely raised some eyebrows.
“The word ‘c-nt’ was trending this year. I don’t think Blake Lively was that bad,” Hannah said during Netflix’s Torching 2024: A Roast of The Year.
With all of the headlines surrounding Blake right now, the joke went viral over the weekend. That meant Hannah had some explaining to do. Cue the Instagram Story!
Hannah posted a statement to her Instagram Stories on Friday, December 27, addressing the joke she made about Blake. Like a true comedian, she didn’t apologize for the joke in the Netflix special. Instead, she offered some context to help explain why she made the remark in the first place.
“My joke in the Netflix roast was filmed before news of the [lawsuit]. To be 100 percent clear, I support Blake xoxo,” Hannah wrote.
According to People, the Netflix special was filmed on December 17. Blake’s lawsuit went public on December 20, just three days later. In the lawsuit, Blake accused actor Justin Baldoni of orchestrating a smear campaign to retaliate against her for raising concerns about on-set misconduct in their movie, It Ends With Us. Allegedly, it had an impact on her husband and kids.
Of course, Blake also went viral this year because multiple clips surfaced showing her being allegedly rude to journalists. That’s why Hannah made the joke in the first place. However, the joke just didn’t age well. Pop culture moves too quickly!
Either way, Hannah probably didn’t lose any sleep over this little snafu. Making an offensive joke is like a rite of passage for a comedian. It’s probably only a matter of time before she does it again.
Livvy Dunne is putting her gymnastics training to good use. The gymnast rang in the festive spirit in a method that was completely unexpected and unconventional as compared to the others. Wearing a skimpy red bikini, the Louisiana State University (LSU) graduate took a plunge into an ocean amidst the chilly winter weather. What prompted her to take this up one may never know, especially when she confessed to having an aversion to cold. However, in true gymnast fashion, it did not deter her from trying.

A few days ago, Livvy Dunne embraced the year-end season on TikTok documenting her taking a cold plunge in the middle of the water while donning a bikini. She captioned the video, “I hate the cold.” However, this did not stop her from taking a daring plunge into the ocean. The video began with the gymnast pacing on the shore due to the chilly winter before removing her black jacket to reveal her red bikini. She handed the jacket to someone before running barefoot into the ocean.
Livvy Dunne then took the cold plunge, dipping her entire body into the ocean before running out onto the sand. She was visibly chilly, drenched from top to bottom, as she beamingly greeted who appeared to be Roux, the golden retriever. While drying her blonde tresses, which she had kept open, the gymnast wrapped herself with a small towel to calm the body’s cold shock response. By the end of the video, she walked back with the towel in her hand, marking an end to this daring adventure.
Joining in on the festive spirit, the gymnast set the background music to Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” Meanwhile, the TikTok video went viral among her over 8 million followers. As of this writing, Livvy Dunne’s cold plunge has already generated 2.2 million views. Fans took to the comments section to praise her for braving the cold and taking the plunge. A few others called it the perfect gift for the holiday season.

During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, a virtual guest had a question for Luann. “Luann, you mentioned Dorinda [Medley] earlier … did she happen to spill any Season 3 of [The] Traitors tea? And would you want to do Season 4?” the fan asked.
“You know, people have been asking me about Traitors. You know, I don’t know if I would do well in a show like that, only because I feel like they take your phone away,” Luann explained. “D. said it was like … she had a little PTSD from it. So, I mean, thank you everyone who’s been asking me about that, but I think I would rather do Dancing with the Stars.”
Host Andy Cohen asked Luann about the ballroom dance competition series. “Have they never asked you to be on Dancing with the Stars?” he asked. “What?”

TLC fans have always known that Kody Brown loved to control his large polygamous family. Between being the master of the house and making all the final calls, Kody felt pretty good about his standing as head of the household. But now that he is down to one wife, he is humbled almost daily. Meri Brown, his first and latest wife to leave, is finally opening up about what it was like to be married to Kody, and according to her, it wasn’t pretty.

In 2015, after years of neglect, Meri found herself in a full-fledged cheating scandal. While living in Las Vegas, she became isolated from her family as Kody showed more favor to his fourth and favorite wife, Robyn Brown. So, the mother of one turned to the internet for some solace. There, she met “Sam,” who, in reality, was a woman disguising herself as a man. Meri shared intimate photos of herself with a banana and details of her private life with the catfish. After months of talking and finally confessing her love, Meri was blackmailed and forced to come clean to the rest of the polygamous family.
Kody was not only furious but also embarrassed. For years, he believed Meri would stand by him no matter how he treated her. But this was the first inkling that Meri could roam from the family, leaving the father of 18 shaken to his core. Eight years after the incident, Kody told TLC cameras, “The experience of Meri’s catfish makes me extremely angry. Cause she’s in full denial of what actually happened.” Even so, Meri tried her best to win back his love but ultimately failed.

During the most recent episode of Sister Wives, Meri shared that she really tried to put in the work regarding her 33-year marriage with Kody. While talking to her friend, Meri noted, “Kody basically had a list for me to do before we would start working on a relationship.” But as fans have seen, no amount of jumping through hoops has helped Meri win back her husband.

She shared that Kody checked out long ago, saying he had once said, “‘Meri, I decided this two years ago.’ I don’t think that was fair to me. You know, if he really was having these feelings that he really, really was done, it would have been cool if he would have just talked to me about it instead of the mixed messages that I kept getting.”
In the stunning admission, Meri added, “He asked me for some specific things. He had this list of things that he wanted me to do in order for us to work on our marriage. And once I completed that list, he was done.” At that moment, Meri finally realized that her husband had run out of excuses. “I had done everything that he asked of me,” noted Meri. In his confessional, Kody claimed he took his time for Robyn’s sake. Kody recounted his fourth wife, stating, “‘It’s not right for you to break this off. She has to do this.’ And I finally went, ‘She’s not going to do this and we’re not safe together.'”
However, Meri ultimately wised up and followed in the footsteps of Christine Brown and Janelle Brown, noting she once thought there was “a way that Kody and I could have figured out our relationship and our marriage.” Still, in the end, Meri knew, “There’s just a lot of things that he says and does that have been really, really confusing to me over the years which, also is why I stayed with him for so long.” Meri is now moving forward with her life and looking forward to a new chapter free of lists.
Survivor 47 has come to an end, marking the seventh season of the show’s New Era. Rachel LaMont was crowned the winner against Sam Phalen and Sue Smey in a 7-1-0 vote. Survivor 47 was an eventful season that featured a plethora of crazy twists and turns.
In comparison to the other seasons of the New Era, Survivor 47 comes out on top. This season excelled in ways the previous six New Era seasons didn’t, which made it so enjoyable to watch. If Survivor 48 follows in the footsteps of Survivor 47, the New Era has the potential to become the best period for the show.
Survivor 47 featured outstanding strategic players

When it comes to players on Survivor, one thing you want to see above all else is strategy. While it’s good for players to have strong physical and social games, the game of Survivor is centered around strategy. Rachel was one of the most strategic players this season, which helped secure her win. Rachel used advantages to steer clear of elimination more than once, which helped add to her resume.
Another strong player this season was Andy Rueda. Despite having a rough start to the season, Andy became a huge strategic threat after making the merge. Andy led multiple blindsides on players like Sierra Wright as well as Caroline Vidmar in the iconic Operation Italy. He was able to manage his threat level until he reached the final six when Rachel realized how good of a game he had been playing.
The other standout player on Survivor 47 was Genevieve Mushaluk. Genevieve emerged as a strategic threat early in the merge, when she pulled off a major blindside on Sol Yi. After this, Genevieve struggled to escape elimination until she was ultimately voted out in the final five. Genevieve also took part in Operation Italy and managed to temporarily convince the tribe that she had an idol. Survivor 47 certainly had no shortage of strategic masterminds, but these three stood out above the rest.
Survivor 47 saw successful advantage plays
One of the most frustrating things about Survivor 46 was the number of players who went home with idols in their pockets. Thankfully, the Survivor 47 players didn’t make the same mistake. Gabe Ortis, Rome Cooney, Rachel, and Sue all successfully played an idol this season. While Sam found an idol during the pre-merge, he never ended up needing it.
Apart from idols, Survivor 47 featured the successful use of a couple of other advantages. Sol sent Rachel a safety without power advantage, which she used to escape elimination during the final twelve. Rachel also played her shot in the dark, to gauge if she needed to use her idol at the final eleven. It’s never a good season of Survivor without a few good idol plays and advantages!
Survivor 47 included many memorable moments
Another enjoyable aspect of Survivor 47 was the number of memorable and historic moments the season included. The Survivor 47 fire-making challenge was one of the most exciting in Survivor history. Sam narrowly beat Teeny Chirichillo, who had been in the lead for most of the challenge. When the wind blew Teeny’s fire away from the rope, Sam took the lead and burned his rope nearly seconds before Teeny would’ve. It’s safe to say that this fire-making challenge had everyone on the edge of their seats.
Survivor 47 also featured some of the best blindsides of the New Era. Operation Italy was arguably the best move of the New Era. Andy managed to evenly split votes between Sam and Genevieve, all while getting Caroline out. Rachel’s blindside on Andy was also impressive, as no one besides Sue knew that she had an idol.
Another memorable moment from Survivor 47 was the ride negotiation. The players reached a unique deal with Jeff Probst, where they agreed to give up all of their shots in the dark for rice. Even Jeff was impressed with this negotiation, which shows how iconic it was. Survivor 47 featured a cast that really knew how to play the game. The players this season didn’t hold back and risked everything for their games, making it the best season of the New Era so far.

So far, Fran Cutler seemed to confirm she’s one of the newest Real Housewives. Meanwhile, there’s another rumored name especially exciting to reality TV fans on both sides of the pond. While she’s probably best known stateside for The Traitors Season 2, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu first rose to fame on Season 8 of Love Island UK. She became one of the most popular contestants of all time- and this author’s personal favorite.
After winning Love Island, Ekin-Su skyrocketed to 4 million Instagram followers, graced magazine covers, launched a successful line with B Perfect Cosmetics, and wrote a memoir. Her love life gets lots of tabloid attention. Aside from the rocky relationship with Love Island co-winner Davide Sanclimenti, she allegedly hooked up with former Bachelor Peter Weber. She’s hilarious, dramatic, gorgeous, fashionable, and completely unpredictable. In other words, Ekin-Su is perfect Real Housewives material.
Ekin-Su is a one-of-a-kind TV personality
There’s never been anyone quite like Ekin-Su on Love Island UK. To quote her introduction on The Traitors: “I’m very quirky, very weird, but I’m also very relatable, and people love that about me.” As soon she entered the villa, Ekin secured her place in the Love Island bombshell hall of fame. She had the biggest impact on the show since Maura Higgins (who would also make a great Real Housewife).
Love Island conversations can get stale and repetitive. There are lots of “Where’s your head at?” questions or “Would you like to get to know someone else?” chats that feel producer-prompted. That was never the case when Ekin was on screen. While flirting with one contestant, she sang the SpongeBob Squarepants theme song in its entirety. When another asked about their relationship status, she changed the subject to show off her Voldemort impression.
Ekin also won over viewers as a total girl’s girl. Yes, she fought with the ladies, but she also gave them pep talks and cuddled with them in bed, joking that she felt like their grandma. In fact, for the annual talent show, she gave a speech complimenting all of her fellow girls. There’s a reason that, throughout the season, fans jokingly compared her to Princess Diana.

There was one particular moment when Ekin cemented herself into the Love Island history books. Frustrated by Davide’s lack of affection, she crawled onto the villa terrace to sneak a smooch with a new contestant. Since then, other Love Island contestants have attempted their own viral terrace moments. But nothing comes close. Ekin never had to try to be chaotic- it just came naturally. She always kept co-stars on their toes.
After winning Love Island, Ekin joined Dancing on Ice. When her naughty routine got backlash, she dressed as Maria von Trapp the following week. Her entertaining antics got so much attention, they were discussed on programs like The Graham Norton Show.
Even in her short-lived and difficult stint on Celebrity Big Brother, Ekin didn’t hold back. Memorably, she asked the question all of the UK was wondering at the time: “Where’s Kate [Middleton]?” For a brief moment, someone changed her Wikipedia page to call her an investigative journalist.

But naturally, like the country’s yearly hurricanes, the women often have a few significant fights. Below is a list of times the perfect Mexican vacation didn’t work out.
Heather Dubrow is tired of the mean girls
Viewers were psyched to see Heather Dubrow finally return to the Real Housewives of Orange County. She had been gone for a few seasons but had decided to make her comeback. But after planning a trip to Mexico and almost leaving Noella Bergener blacklisted, fans started to sing a different tune. During Season 16, Heather and Terry Dubrow had been discussing buying a vacation home in Cabo. While the temperature was in the 100s, tensions rose among the women. During her confessional, Heather admitted “The thing about Noella is, I don’t dislike her. It’s just that every time I sort of try to start with her, something goes off.” In the end, Heather regrets inviting the newbie, who refuses to eat the fancy food and brings up rumors about Emily Simpson.
Bethenny Frankel will never plan another girls trip
Real Housewives of New York Season 9 trip to Mexico is an unsung masterpiece. I mean, where do I even start? Firstly, Ramona Singer arrived with what looked like a Freddy Krueger face peel. Then, in hopes of not letting Ramona get the best room, Bethenny Frankel introduced a number system. However, Tinsley Mortimer pulled number one and gave her room to the host as a thank you.
This move caused a massive fight since Sonja Morgan felt the room should have been given to her after allowing Tins to stay for free in the famed townhouse. But perhaps the best part was Bethenny’s planned dinner. Dorinda Medley was just too exhausted to show her face, and Luann de Lesseps showed up wasted. The countess then proceeded to fall into a bush. After finding the strength to get up, she then tripped off the step, leaving Ramona to note, “You should have gone this way.”
Kenya Moore couldn’t help herself when it came to flirting
The Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise traveled to Riviera Maya in hopes of having a drama-free vacation. But who knew a jungle could be so scary? During their excursion, the ladies were confronted by a snake “as big as a building,” and Phaedra Parks was startled by a monkey. The entire trip showed some sexual tension between Apollo Nida and Kenya Moore. It all came to a head when Apollo and Kenya were caught having a midnight swim. However, the most surprising fight occurred between Gregg Leakes and Peter Thomas. The men became embroiled after defending their wives and soon were belly to belly to duke it out. Dare I say there was too much rum punch that night?
RHONJ mudslinging in Mexico
The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s cast trip to Mexico was an all-out brawl. Margaret Josephs and Danielle Staub couldn’t find common ground and allowed their issues to boil over. Their fight ended with Marge throwing a full glass of wine in her frenemy’s face. From there, the trip only got worse. While Melissa Gorga tried to calm tensions, newbie Jennifer Aydin broke a glass and pointed it at Missy. But the mother of three wasn’t about to deal with that move, telling Jen, “You’ve got the wrong f*cking girl, I’m telling you that.” This trip showed how low Jen could go in her battles as she mocked Marge and her mother for having an affair.
The RHOBH ladies have resorted to madness
Season 12 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills had a lot to unpack. The trip to Mexico was supposed to be healing for everyone. Lisa Rinna was still processing the loss of her mother. The island retreat seemed to go well until a heated dinner. Crystal Kung Minkoff and Sutton Stracke exchanged words, and Diana Jenkins jumped in for backup. Diana claimed that Sutton had once claimed she hated Crystal, which the fashionista denied. Sutton was left so upset she excused herself from the table to go and cry it out. After all these failed Mexico getaways, I think the Real Housewives should try another tropical destination for their vacations.

Parvati is well-known for creating two buzzy reality TV moments. During Survivor: Heroes vs Villains, Parvati’s two idol shocker saved two members of her Villain tribe. Then, during the second season of The Traitors, Parvati pulled off a murder in front of everyone. She subtly convinced poor Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu to drink from a poisoned goblet.
Now, Parvarti is opening up like never before in her new memoir, Nice Girls Don’t Win: How I Burned It All Down. The book, published by The Dial Press, will be available next summer. Parvati dealt with some tough situations after winning Survivor at 25 years old. Her divorce from fellow Survivor player John Fincher was difficult to navigate, as was the death of her brother. The memoir’s synopsis reads, “As harrowing as it is healing, Shallow’s story is a testament to the profound lessons that can be found in radical self-acceptance and self-love.”
Parvati told PEOPLE, “When I entered the world of reality TV competition at 23 years old, I released control over my own story and I lost myself in the noise for a long time. Writing this book in the thick of a difficult divorce helped me reclaim my power by telling my story, my way,” she explained.
“I dug into the deepest, most intimate parts of my life,” Parvati stated, “and faced some hard truths to help myself heal from the pain of my past.
